Getting Started...

Some Advise - The Getting started documents are meant to give you a general understanding of the features that are available in Your Catalog. How you use those features is going to be determined by the type of product you are selling. If you have several different types of products it would be beneficial to enter a sampling from across the product lines to get a feel for how you will implement your store front.

Organize your categories on paper and then enter them into the system. You will also want to determine how large you want your thumbnails to be and how many columns across you want each category to display. For categories with many items you will want to consider adjusting the amount of products to display per page by using the Rows setting for that category.

Take advantage of the HTML editor in the Item and Category Admin to add additional text and photos to your catalog. Visit the forum on Your Catalog to ask questions and get ideas from other users. Also visit the Mals-e site for information on the settings inside the Mal's system.
